This beauty logo was designed for Kaitlyn Wilkinson, a make-up artist and business owner. She was looking to expand the services offered at The Beauty Factor and wanted an upgraded logo to complement the expansion. The brief was to craft something that could easily evolve as the business grows, with a focus on personalised service.

Taking Kaitlyn’s vision of an outlined face with a focus on lips and lashes, I created a contemporary line drawing with a large luscious pout, bold brows and a feline flick at the lashes. This was backed with a muted pastel palette of mint green and blush pink for a pop of Miami retro glam.

To complement the more complex logo, we also created a simple stamp-style variation to be used as a watermark for images on the web. This bold circle pulls the colour scheme together in a yin and yang silhouette with curved text mirrored by a semi-circular line. I also added an evocative mood board of images to create a cohesive branding aesthetic to be used on The Beauty Factor’s website and social channels.

 
After having my logo designed previously with another designer, the outcome wasn’t as expected. I found Ours Design and fell in love with their designs. Although nervous due to my experience, I put my trust in Brooke to create something unique and beautiful.
